HaloMaps v1 This Halo MapPack was the first of its kind and a huge breakthrough in the modding community. When HaloPC was released we soon found out that there were 6 multiplayer maps which were not included in the Xbox version. These 6 maps were best known as Danger Canyon, Death Island, Gephyrophobia, Ice fields, Infinity, & Timberland. The other 7 maps were single player bsp conversions except for a massively tweaked Bloodgulch and a map called Camtrack which was from Halo CE. I wont spoil all the surprises for you, but there are many more exciting toys lurking around in HaloMaps v1. It's time to break out your modded Xbox's people... Did someone say LAN Party? HaloMaps v2 This MapPack took quite some time to develop because in the process of doing so the Halo CE Community were pumping out maps like no tomorrow! Since HaloMaps v1 was a huge success I decided to steer my attention to the Halo CE Community because at that time it was on fire. I must have went through thousands of custom maps before I got somewhat of a good line up. All these maps were converted to Xbox, play tested many of times for collision errors then brought into Guerilla and loaded a brand new scenario into the map such as (spawn points, game types, weapons, vehicles, etc.). I reworked all the maps my way and made sure everything was completely balanced for fair and even game play. I would like to thank all the Halo CE map designers for their hard work and dedication. Conversions MapPack This Halo MapPack consists of an early collection of Xbox Single Player and Halo CE conversions to Xbox Halo Multiplayer supporting all game types. The goal for this MapPack was to get every conversion compressing accurately and able to be played through system link with every game type possible supported. At the time, this was a pretty tall task but after much community effort centering around a thread posted in the halomods.com forums, each of us were able to make these modifications and fixes to each of the maps within a couple of months. This Conversion Map Pack was designed to be used with HMPi (Halo Map Pack Installer) and installed effortlessly, just like NMP and CXE. All xbe big cache patching and build number stuff is handled automatically by HMPi, so there is no reason to mess with any of that. Just install the maps. CXE & NMP2 MapPack with HMPi CXE (Custom Xbox Edition v1) and NMP2 (New Map Project v2) with HMPi (Halo Map Pack Installer). Well it's been months of work put into these two MapPacks. This is an unbelievable set of maps separated by modded maps and new maps. As you have probably already seen, NMP is the new map project for maps that are new in most all regard. However this time NMP has gotten together with team CXE to bring you Custom Xbox tradition a game focused on the best of the best of modded xbox maps. New with this release is HMPi, an automated Map Pack installer. No longer will it take the inexperienced people hours to install interfaces. With an FTP connection and fresh copy of Halo, anyone can quickly and easily install both NMP and CXE at the same time automatically!!!! If you were ever scared to get into the Halo modding scene. Now's your chance to easily get some of the greatest mod on your xbox with a few buttons. Credits: Reddog, UM, & AngryCamel
How to Install Guide
Killtrocity MapPack (Halo 2) After a lot of work, postponing, hussling with legit auto-patching, patches, debugging maps, finally we could release. We present proudly a compilation of maps that deserve being played into eternity and that were made with great dedication by their authors, therefore for filling the true goal of modding: having fun making mods and let everyone have fun playing them. This mappack has been put together quite selective and besides that it has been tested very thoroughly. Even at the last second I've made some minor updates to maps, mostly systemlink issues. It contains various types of mods and I'm sure this mappack will give everyone a lot of good modded multiplayer experiences (and not freezing Xbox's experiences). Not everyone likes a map pack, but this one is a must have. It contains 48 modded maps made by various authors, with a modded main menu. It'll be a classic!
